They say that big things come in little packages. Don't let the sleek and minimalist appearance of the Oceanic Excursion BCD fool you into believing that it won't meet your expectations. We believe that it will not only meet your needs but that it will exceed them.
The Oceanic Excursion is a back inflate BCD which puts you in proper position under the water. The air bladder of the BCD is made using Oceanic's patented Bioflex material which allows the bladder to stretch as it expands. A fadeless 1600 Denier nylon is used in the shoulder and pocket panels for durability and long life. The main zipper pocket can be rolled up out of the way if you are not using it on your dives. Three strategically placed air dumps valves allow you to fine tune your buoyancy from virtually any body position. The Excursion also features quick lock and release integrated weight pockets which will accommodate up to ten pounds of weight, with two additional non dump-able pockets on the back which allows for better weight distribution. The back weight pockets hold up to 5 pounds each. Adjustable shoulder straps and a depth compensating allow for a more personalized and comfortable fit. Pre-bent D-rings and caribeener loops make this a great BCD for both recreational and technical diving.
Oceanics GT3 regulator combines the diaphragm style CDX5 first stage whose enviromental kit makes it suitable for both cold and warm water diving. The patented dynamic adjust feature of the GT3 second stage allows you to set your inhalation effort and forget about it. The regulator keeps the inhalation effort consistant throughout your dive. The Oceanic GT3 is nitrox compatible for up to 40%.
The Oceanic Alpha 8 octopus (alternate air source) is easy to identify with the high viz yellow hose which extends into the integrated purge valve face plate. This classic design has been a standard in the industry for a long time. If it is good then why change it?
Because we want you to be a safer diver, we have included the entry level Veo 100 combo console. The Oceanic Veo 100 is an single gas air computer which is both easy to read and simple to use. One of the features found with this dive computer include a 12 dive internal log book feature which keeps track of your dives. The Oceanic computer goes on when you descend and then adjusts your allowable bottom time accordingly in real time.
