The Hera BCD by Oceanic is a women specific BCD. This Hera Hybrid BCD combines the features of a rear inflate with a little bit of the wrap around jacket styling to make this one of the most comfortable female BCD's on the market today. In years past the solution for a woman's BCD was to taske a man's BCD make it extra small and color it pink. The Oceanic Hera BCD was built from the ground up keeping the female form in mind. From the patented custom fit harness with its multi-position cummerbund and shoulder straps this BCD ensures fit and comfort. The integrated weight pocket system allows for 20 pounds of weight with and additional 10 pounds available room in the dual 5 pound back pockets which allows better weight distribution for more natural in water positioning.
The Oceanic CDX5 GT3 first and second stage combination is user friendly as it allows you, the user, to adjust the inhalation effort to your liking via the patented Dynamic Adjust feature on the GT3 second stage. Set it and forget it you will have the same inhalation effort you chose at all depths of your dive. The CDX5 is a diaphragm first stage is equipped with an Enviro kit which makes it suitable for warm and cold water diving.
The Oceanic Alpha 8 alternate air source features the same high performance and simplistic design as found with the Alpha 8 main second stage. The high-visibility yellow accents make the Oceanic Alpha 8 Octopus easy to distinguish from the main second stage and the longer hose makes it easy to manage when needed.
Everyone should dive using a dive computer because it eliminates mistakes that can be made using conventional dive tables but you shouldn't need a PHD in order to use one. The Oceanic Veo 100 computer is extremely simple and is an excellent entry level dive computer. It keeps track and stores information for 12 dives in its log book feature. The number and display graphs are easy to read and have visual warnings. The computer does not feature audible warnings cues or back lighting. The Oceanic Veo 100 dive computer is housed in the Oceanic Swiv combo console with Oceanic's easy to read submersible pressure gauge with Ocean-Glo luminescent face. The console does allow a spot for a Swiv Style compass which can be upgraded.
