It is ok to admit that a snorkel can sometimes be a pain to have hanging on the side of your mask while scuba diving but it is still an essential piece of equipment for scuba divers. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a snorkel that you could keep in your BCD pocket and be able to take it out when you need it and be able to securely attach it to your mask without having to take your mask off and fight with it? Oceanic listened, took the challenge and succeeded with the appropriately named Pocket Snorkel.
The Oceanic Pocket Snorkel is a semi-dry snorkel whose dry top deflector is a a great water deterrant and the patented Snorkel Lock snorkel keeper uses extremely strong hook and look material for when the snorkel is attached to the mask.
The silicone drop away flex tubing on the Oceanic Pocket Snorkel keeps it out of the way when not in use. The same flexible tubing is used near the top of the snorkel which allows it to be folded and placed in the BCD pocket when not in use. The Oceanic Pocket Snorkel also uses an oversized purge valve which makes clearing the snorkel very easy.
