The B.U.D. is a cost-effective backup dive computer featuring Oceanic's exclusive Dual Decompression algorithm. It can be used for Nitrox dives and has an easy to use single-button interface. It is built in a strong lightweight hockey puck module featuring a convenient clip to attach it to your BCD. The B.U.D.'s simple display makes it very easy to monitor critical information during your dive. And its single button and friendly menus allow you to easily access and/or program specific parameters. In addition to its two decompression algorithms, the B.U.D. also features a conservatism adjustment.
Let's now look at the features of the Oceanic B.U.D. While diving, you can view several displays. The Oceanic B.U.D. Dive Computer will turn on as soon as you enter the water and carefully guide you during your dive with its easy to read displays and bar graphs.
Want to dive the same profile as your buddy? Not a problem. With the B.U.D. you can dive in sync with anybody, anywhere. Thanks to its unique dual algorithm feature, using the B.U.D. you can closely match just about any other dive computer on the market, allowing you and anybody to always dive in sync.
Running out of battery during a dive trip? Not a problem. With the Oceanic B.U.D. Dive Computer you can change the batteries yourself. Diving at altitude? Not a problem. The Oceanic B.U.D. measures the altitude and will adjust its algorithm based on the altitude you are diving. Last but not least, you can program various features of the B.U.D.
