THE OCEANIC OC1 DIVE COMPUTER, DIGITAL COMPASS USE - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

The Oceanic OC1 is an advanced, all-in-one dive computer featuring Oceanic's exclusive dual-algorithm, wireless air integration, digital compass, remote buddy pressure check and so much more, all in a strong, lightweight titanium housing. eDiving is a scuba diving simulator featuring the advanced Oceanic OC1 dive computer.

To control the Oceanic OC1 Dive Computer while eDiving, press 1 for the Mode button. Press 2 for the Advance button and press 3 for the Select button. Press Z to maximize the OC1. Press and hold key 3 for the Select button to enter Compass mode.

You must first calibrate the compass. Press key 1 for the Mode button and key 3 to select calibration. Press key 3 again to begin the calibration. Now rotate 360 degrees and press 3 to confirm the calibration.

We'll now set the declination for Avalon Park, which is 12 degrees east. Press 1 for the Mode menu and 2 to scroll to declination, 3 to select. Press 2 to scroll to declination east and 3 to select. Press 2 until you reach 12 degrees and 3 to set.

Let's descend and find the swim platform. I'll bring up the map to get the correct heading. The swim platform is at a heading of 316 degrees. There it is.

Now let's set a reference heading to the buoy straight out. Press 1 for the Mode menu, 2 to scroll to reference and 3 to select it. Now rotate to the heading you want and press 3 to set the heading.

We'll descend and follow the heading to [wrecks] below. While in compass mode, press 2 to invert your heading and 3 to confirm. You can now see the reference point has inverted. The heading brought us right back to the stairs where we started.

This video is an example of some of the features on the Oceanic OC1 Dive Computer.
