THE OCEANIC OC1 DIVE COMPUTER, NO DECO DIVE MODE - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:

Welcome to the Oceanic OC1 Dive Computer, No Deco Dive Mode tutorial. In this video you will learn various functions for a no-deco dive with the Oceanic OC1. This video has been created using the eDiving scuba diving simulator.

Before descending, I have activated the deep-stop setting, set my safety stop time and depth and connected to my buddy's transmitter. On my main screen you can see my current depth, dive time remaining, nitrogen loading, air time remaining and remaining pressure in my tank.

Press Advance to see alternate screen one. Displayed is your max depth, elapsed dive time and F02 set point. Press Advance twice to see alternate screen two. Displayed is the time of day and temperature.

I will now ascend to my deep stop. To see what depth to ascend to and for how long, press Advance for more than two seconds. This is a preview of your deep stop depth and time. We are now within our deep stop depth range and you can see the depth is displayed and the timer has begun to count down.

We have now completed our deep stop. Let's swim back and meet our buddy. We can check his pressure by first pressing Mode for two seconds then scroll to Bud 3 and press Select. Now his remaining tank pressure is displayed.

Let's ascend a little to our safety stop depth range. We are now within our safety stop depth range. Displayed is the safety stop depth setting and countdown timer. Our safety stop is complete and we can now safely ascend to the surface.

You have now learned various functions for a no-deco dive with the Oceanic OC1 Dive Computer. You can practice what you've learned in this video with the free eDiving scuba diving simulator.
