THE OCEANIC PROBE HLC SCUBA BCD - VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
Hi I am Joe Stellini with Oceanic and today I'd like to show you the Oceanic Probe HLC BCD. The Probe series has been in the Oceanic line for over a decade and with improvements over the years, it continues to be Oceanic's most popular BCD.
Its most recent improvement on the Oceanic Probe is a high-lift capacity hybrid bladder. Oceanic has taken this jacket-style BCD and pleated the bladder, offering superb trim during the dive by keeping the air in its separated 360 degree wing. But while at the surface, the Oceanic Probe HLC BCD transfers the air to the lobes at the side panels, keeping the BCD from pushing you forward while trying to maintain an upright position. Venting air is also made easy with pull dumps located near each shoulder and one at the back for venting while inverted. The Oceanic Probe HLC's quick-lock release pockets are flexible to help prevent snagging or breaking and have a maximum weight capacity of 20 lbs. of dumpable weight, not to mention, 10 lbs. of non-dumpable trim weight in the back.
The Oceanic Probe HLC BCD has many accessory attachment points and offers a maximum comfort with its depth-compensating cummerbund and padded lumbar support. A built-in whistle is part of the sternum strap, which has multiple attachment points and a heavy-duty handle allows for easy management of your system in and out of the water.
So if you're looking for a quality and feature-rich BC, you should consider the Oceanic Probe HLC.
